As you can see, as women get older, the chances of pregnancy success do decrease. Hi Maya, these are great questions. It is possible to get pregnant at 42 although it depends on your health and fertility status. I pulled this article for you that discusses IVF success rates for women over 42:

As you can see, frozen embryos offer women your age a higher chance of success. Donor egg is another option, one you may not want to consider quite yet, but donor egg IVF success rates are much higher for women over 40 who are undergoing IVF.

Hi I had my tubal reversal a couple weeks ago. Dr said we could start trying a month later. What are the risks if for some reason it happened sooner? I'm worried.. I have already had my period and it ended a week ago .

I had a tubal reversal in June 16, 2015 and after 8 months got my first positive pregnancy test but after 2 week I had a miscarriage went to the doctor and he advised me that ivf would only give me a 2% success rate but if I got pregnant why can I keep trying normally I am 44 years old and feeling so confused about all of these please advise.

hi iv pcos i got preg and at 21 weeks i gave birth to baby boy but he didnt make it :( my little angle x x x with over 2 years now and cant get preg since. can you recamond anything to help me. been for HSG thats how i got preg 1st . finding it very hard to concive can pcos be removed and if so would it be better to and easier to concive
